Wheel of Fortune Slots Enhanced with a New Video and Special Bonuses

The Wheel of Fortune Slots, which are based the television game show “Wheel of Fortune”, one of the most popular game shows ever on television, were a big hit the minute they were introduced to the playing public.  Now, IGT, the slot machine’s manufacturer, is launching several new versions of the game complete with video and special bonuses.

The new video slot, IGT’s “Special Edition”, is sure to attract a lot of players with its upgraded graphics, enhanced stereo sound, and actual video clips of TV show hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White guiding players through the action of the game.  No doubt, the new features only serve to distract players from the fact that they are really still playing with just an ordinary slot machine. The slots are five-reel, fifteen-line games allowing bets of up to 75 coins per spin.

The new bonus round features included with the new Wheel of Fortune slots include the Triple Action Wheel.  With the regular slots, players that got a bonus round were allowed to spin the wheel again and whatever slot number the wheel landed on was multiplied by whatever the player’s bet was (in other words, if the wheel landed on a five the player received five times her bet, if the wheel landed on a ten, the player would receive ten time her bet etc).  With the new game, the player is given the opportunity to solve actual word puzzles associated with red, yellow, and blue pointers above the wheel. If the player gets all three correct, she will then get all three multipliers that the pointers landed on.

Money Spin is the other bonus feature appearing with the new Wheel of Fortune slots.  With this bonus a player can spin the wheel and either get a bonus slot and continue as usual or she might get a bonus amount and a second spin of the wheel to add to her winnings.  If the player is really lucky, she might receive the bonus and launch a completely separate version of the game that features six reels, four rows, and twenty pay lines.   In this version of the game, players can really see the money come in.
